Accomplishments toward the vision.
Working together, the City of Irving TIF District partnering with DCURD, the Las Colinas Association, and Area Property Owners has already achieved the following goals:

• Created $320 million for TIF
• Refinanced DCURD debt
• Streamlined DCURD tax abatement-codified by the State Legislature
• Developed a Land Use Study in 2000
• Completed an interlocal agreement with DART light rail for service to Las Colinas Urban Center, linking Texas Stadium, the University of Dallas, Downtown Dallas and DFW
• International Airport. The DART system is expected to be in operation by 2007 or 2008
• Selected site for new Convention Center to be built in the Las Colinas Urban Center
